Show Notes

Greg Taylor and Clarence Davis visit four episodes in King David's life from 1-2 Samuel, each showing a difference characteristic of the "man after God's own heart." One of the key characteristics is that the man after God's own heart is a sinner, but not only that a jerk who needs to change daily. Greg describes Terry Ewing's seven levels of Jerks from Stickman Theology and concludes the man after God's own heart must empty self and be filled with God's Spirit and follow the way of the cross of Jesus Christ.
